Drive in Movie Theatre – Plentywood, MT

I love the drive-in. There’s nothing better than relaxing in your car and catching a flick under the stars. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a town that still had an operating drive-in movie theatre (and still does today) so my drive-in movie experience started at a young age.

Priceless Christmas Joys

This year I am fortunate enough to be able to go home for Christmas for the second year in a row after starting my real, “big-person” job. This may not seem like a big feat to some but between my limited vacation days and the location of my hometown, it has proven to be a difficult task. You see, my hometown is located in the very northeastern corner of the state of Montana – 15 miles from the Canadian border and 25 miles from the North Dakota border.

Kell’s St. Patricks Irish Festival

Happy St. Patrick’s Day everyone! This year I celebrated the holiday a few days early at Kell’s annual St. Patrick’s Irish Festival in downtown Portland. Each year Kells sets up an enormous white tent in the parking lot behind the main bar complete with a dance floor, stage, beer stands, and a kitchen that cooks up traditional Irish food.
