During college the highlight of my spring break was the destinations. Some of my past spring break destinations have included sin city, Phoenix, and Butte, America for their crazy St. Patrick’s Day celebration. Now that my college days are over the highlight of my spring break has been the break in traffic. Sad but true. When school is out my thirty minute commute literally cuts in half. It is glorious.
Ahh happy hour…the best time to unwind after a long day of work or in my case…a thirteen mile run. After my half marathon in Phoenix, I took two days off work to recover and explore the city with Sarah and her sister Heidi. Part of our recovery, aside from shopping, included hitting up various happy hours around the city.
Most of you know P.F. Chang’s for their delicious Chinese food but what you may not know is they host a marathon and half marathon in Phoenix that combines running, charity, and rock and roll.
