Whitewater Rafting the Gallatin
I had the pleasure of attending college at Montana State University in Bozeman, MT – surrounded by beautiful mountain ranges and access to endless outdoor activities. During my time in Bozeman I went on numerous camping trips, explored Yellowstone, hiked dozens of trails and skiied the Bridgers. But one activity I never got a chance to do was whitewater rafting.

Over Memorial Day weekend I finally penciled in a visit to a place that has been on my list since I moved to the Pacific Northwest: the San Juan Islands.
