Frank’s Crazy Buffalo Chicken Dip
In the spirit of Christmas, I decided to host an ugly sweater party to get together with friends before heading home for the holidays. I found a great dip recipe from one of my friends and it was a hit! The entire crock pot was empty before the end of the night! If you like hot wings, you’ll go crazy for this dip!
Here’s what you need:
– (2) 10 oz cans of chicken (I use 12 oz cans from Costco)
– (2) 8 oz packs of cream cheese (I use 1/3 less fat kind)
-3/4 cup hot sauce (Franks is the best!)
-1 cup ranch
– 2 cups mild cheddar cheese
-Baguette slices, Fritos, celery sticks (for dipping)
Here’s how you make it:
1. Drain chicken and pour into large pan
2. Add hot sauce, stir, and heat through
3. Add cream cheese, stir, and heat through (works better if you cut cream cheese into chunks)
4. Add ranch and stir
5. Add 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese, stir, and heat through (until melted)
6. Pour the dip into the crock pot (I use reynolds slow cooker liners for easy clean-up..they are around 4 dollars for 4 liners but totally worth it!)
7. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and heat on low
8. Serve with baguette slices, Fritos, or celery sticks
9. Enjoy!
