Priceless Christmas Joys

This year I am fortunate enough to be able to go home for Christmas for the second year in a row after starting my real, “big-person” job. This may not seem like a big feat to some but between my limited vacation days and the location of my hometown, it has proven to be a difficult task. You see, my hometown is located in the very northeastern corner of the state of Montana – 15 miles from the Canadian border and 25 miles from the North Dakota border.

To Jupiter and Back

Last month my boyfriend turned twenty-six and I could not figure out what to get him for the life of me. I started searching online and found a few fun ideas like the Portland Chocolate Tour. But then realized that that would be like him buying me tickets to a Mopar car show. Don’t get me wrong, I love his 1970 plum crazy (purple) Challenger but I don’t care to go see a hundred of them – the same way the he wouldn’t care to try more then one kind of chocolate.

Why I Love Camping at Spruce Run

Last weekend I finally went on my first (and quite possibly last) camping trip of the summer. I had hoped to get out more this summer but between weddings and weekend outings, my summer has flown by like usual. For the second summer in a row I joined the Brist siblings for their annual camping trip to Spruce Run campground off the Sunset highway.
