Happy Easter!

Well, I’ve officially survived cooking my first Easter dinner. Since it was the first time I’ve ever spent Easter without my family I tried to do some things that reminded me of home like dying eggs and cooking a nice dinner with recipes from my mom and godmother. Our menu consisted of honey glazed ham, potato souffle, and broccoli and cauliflower salad.

Dessert was purposely omitted from the menu because we got so many goodies from my mom and godmother including scotcharoos, peeps, mini Cadbury eggs, and beautiful little Easter chocolates from Brockel’s Chocolates in Billings, MT. My family is far too good to me…I love you!

All in all – we had a nice, relaxing Easter. The cats were very interested in the egg dying business and even more interested in the yummy smelling ham in the crock pot. Over the next few days I’ll be posting recipes from our Easter dinner so stayed tuned! I hope everyone had a fantastic day!
