Drive in Movie Theatre – Plentywood, MT

I love the drive-in. There’s nothing better than relaxing in your car and catching a flick under the stars. I was fortunate enough to grow up in a town that still had an operating drive-in movie theatre (and still does today) so my drive-in movie experience started at a young age.

Spring Break Essentials – Drinks

Number two on my list of spring break essentials is drinks. As I mentioned yesterday, there’s no shortage of food options in Portland and the same goes for drinks. With over 30 microbreweries in the metro area like Rogue, Bridgeport, and Cascade Brewing – many refer to this quirky city as beervana. Not a beer lover? Not to worry. There are a number of other options from you’re standard martini bar to local wineries and micro-distilleries.

Spring Break Essentials: Food

Last week I told you about what I consider the essentials of a successful spring break. Number one on my list is food. This shouldn’t come as a surprise as food is the subject of most of my blog ramblings. Luckily I live in a city that has numerous options for food – from your everyday run of the mill restaurants like Applebees and Outback to over 400 unique food carts scattered throughout downtown. So no matter what type of visitors are in town, food options are not a problem.
